About Our Process.......
In Autumn, our group of divers descends into the frigid Southeast Alaskan waters to handpick only the best Alaskan sea cucumber the sea floor has to offer. We dive two consecutive days a week, allowing the following post dive days to focus solely on processing a LIVE product. Our sea cucumbers are held in live tanks until it is time to cook, allowing us to capture the cucumber in its freshest state. Once cooked, we then immerse the boiled cucumbers in rock salt and allow the product to cure. After curing, the product is then air dried on racks. Finally, the product is packaged, blast frozen at -30 degrees, and stored in our facility freezers until time of shipment.
